Since starting Baby Signing Mummy I have been overwhelmed with how much the business has grown and how much I love what I do. You may remember a blog post from a while back when I was amazed at being nominated for the Mumpreneur Awards 2010
So it is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that I have been made a finalist in the Best Start Up category. I am delighted to be a part of the Mumpreneur Conference and Awards being held in Heart of England Conference Centre on September 18th (which incidentally, if you are going to be there…its the day before my 31st – eeeeeek birthday!)
So, not that I am counting, but I am honoured to think that this is the second time since launching in February of this year that I have been a finalist in an award ceremony!!
I am going to be busily writing some press releases over the next couple of days as I am so bloody proud of what Baby Signing Mummy has achieved (and still has to achieve!)
Let me know if you have any good tips on getting journalists interested in my business – I would love to get Baby Signing Mummy into more homes!

Congratuations!! Im hoPing to meet you there! I paid a PR agency to do a press release for me when I first started. They wrote the whole article with quotes and pictures so I copied that way of doing it and I have a 3/5 success rate of publication. They always say that it was written by some journalist or other but who cares?
Just received one of my purchases from your website & I just wanted to say how fantastic the “Mr Tumble Spotty Bag” is my 2 yr old is over the moon with it! She signs all the time and I loved the course I took with you Louise, so she is now in full role play mode with the bag, it is beautifully made came very well and lovely packaged I will be buying another for my nephew & will be recommending your website to everyone!
