When Baby Signing Mummy started, it’s original form from my sick bed was a resource tool for parents. A one stop place for parents to research the world of baby sign language as I had always struggled to find non biased opinion on the subject. I am very proud of what the website has to offer.

I am also incredibly proud of how much of a family effort the website is. Baby Signing Daddy as some of you are well aware, is the brains behind the technical aspect of the website, and Isabella has final say over which toys make the cut into the Baby Signing Mummy Shop (ok, so a small plug there!) But I am so so proud of our website, so I was a little emotional at an email I received in the week.

Baby Signing Mummy has been nominated for The Website of the Year Award 2010 which will announce a shortlist of websites in October before the final awards evening in November! I am just so pleased as I often have comments from parents of how useful they have found the website which always thrills me as that is what I have been striving for.

I do need your help now though, please if you have found my website useful to you, for whatever reason – finding a class near you, reading the research and gurus of baby signing, the real life case studies or the tips on how to get started, please click on the picture and leave me some feedback. The judges want to know that my visitors get what they came for and find the site easy to use – go wild, let them know how fab it is. (Pretty Please?)

Nothing would make me prouder than to get recognition for this site, it is everything I have dreamed of since I first started signing with Isabella. There has been hard sweat and late night stints to get the site looking like it does (and maybe just a couple of minor tantrums when things have not quite gone to plan) but I love it.

I am delighted with the design that Baby Signing Daddy and I came up with at 1am in bed one night, and have just loved watching it coming to life, I hope that you love it (I’ll settle for just liking it ;) ) and will leave some feedback for it – as this site is for you as parents. Help other parents find its uses too!
